We Love Landscape Lighting!

My client wanted maximum impact from the fewest fixtures, so I designed a layout using a few WAC Mini Accent lights to highlight the focal points of the garden. 1 light per tree, a few path lights, and rather than multiple fixtures for the staircase, I chose to use 1 Mini Accent with a narrow beam per flight. The Mini Accent has an adjustable beam spread and can be dimmed in the fixture. The final effect is dramatic.

Before and After Rail Lights

This was a particularly difficult area to light. The area was very dark and completely covered in wood paneling, so installing new junction boxes or fishing wires would be impossible. The only option was to replace either sconce over the doorway to the left, just outside the photo, or the one over the sink. I considered running a surface wire from one of the sconces, but that would have been ugly. I decided the best solution was replacing the left sconce with a flexible connector and running a bronze colored rail just below the beams and for the whole length of the counter and hanging historic looking bronze LED heads by WAC. The result was a beautiful, bright light with even coverage.

Legrand Adorne Popout Outlet

This is simply the coolest electrical outlet on the market. We have them all over the store and love them. A simple push makes them pop out or hides them when not in use. Each contains 3 outlets. One side is left blank so you can put two next to each other for 6 total outlets. We have white and magnesium (grey) and their matching plates in stock.  We also offer their complete line of switches and dimmers and have a good selection in stock now.

A Recent Kitchen Project

We loved working with this client. She had great taste and was very open to new ideas and products. The WAC Silo Multi Recessed allowed tremendous control and 10 heads to direct as needed with the ability to zoom from a spot to a flood without changing reflectors or heads. The three Melange Disc Pendats by Kelly Wearstler for Visual Comfort added warmth and punctuation with their alabaster discs.

Hand-Blown Vintage 8 Arm Murano Venetian Chandelier

The detail on this chandelier is spectacular. It's clear glass with translucent yellow daffodils in the "Classic Murano" style. You really need to see it to appreciate it. Only the Master Glass Blowers in Murano are allowed to produce fixtures in this style, and you can see how it takes a master to produce a piece of this quality. Philippe Starck's Miss K Table Lamp by Flos

Philippe Starck is our favorite architect and designer. His designs for Flos played a big part in why we are carrying their line of fixtures. This is the Miss K Table Lamp. At a List Price of $295, it's a lot of design for the money. And we will match or beat online pricing! When you see it in person, you see that the light source "floats" in the shade almost like a ghost. Super cool!

Terzani Louvre Sconces

Terzani is another great Italian line of lighting fixtures. They make amazing chandeliers that we hope to have by mid-year. This Vintage Terzani design is no longer in production. It's called Louvre. The thick Alabaster shades are hard to see clearly in the photographs, but they are particularly beautiful. Houzz.com has them for $1,966.80, but our price is only $1,250.
